The tristripper conditioner is generating invalid mesh data. It could just be invalid texcoord and normal data streams... it's only evident from the symptoms:
-- ColladaMaya 3.04 seems to import mesh correctly but, as it re-triangulates the data, removes a few triangles. This causes the texcoord data to be discarded. Non-textured mesh data seem fine.
-- ColladaMax 3.04 imports most non-textured tristrip geometry with at least incorrect normals, and refuses to load tristrip geometry is texcoord data.
I used the various triangulated "Sony Share Source License" COLLADA 1.4.1 test data (i.e. duck, plane, etc) with the tristripper conditioner to recreate this problem.
