Hello everyone, More bug fixes, more physics support. :-) The very latest version is available from: http://www.feelingsoftware.com/colladamaya/LatestColladaPluginForMaya.zip Latest changes: 10/05/05 (cla...@fe...) Physics: Change default value of rot_limit_min, rot_limit_max to (0, 0, 0). Physics: Added a new plug-in project especially for physics. Long term, I plan to make this plug-in an advanced rigid solver based on Ageia technology, and supporting all Collada physics functions. Short term, this plug-in will only do the following: monitor all nodes that are created/imported/loaded, and automatically add dynamic attributes on rigid bodies and their associated shapes. Physics: Use deferred evaluations when adding dynamics attributes to the rigid bodies. Otherwise, for some strange reason Maya complains when adding the inertiaTensor compound attributes. 09/05/05 (Release 0.53 B2 on 1.3.0 branch) (gla...@fe...) In Progress - Conformance Test 06-003-03. One problem left with this conformance test is that the head mesh is a child of the body mesh transform. Corrected the export of parented mesh vertex inputs. Bind the skin cluster on import only to the selected bones, rather than to the whole skeleton. Unbind the automatically bound child transform nodes when importing a controlled parented mesh. Fixed - Mantis #68: Colored Lights shouldn't have Intensity parameter in the Common profile. Baked the intensity directly in the color. Verified linearity of Maya intensity parameter using different test cases. Mantis #68: Fixed intensity > 1.0f issue found with conformance tests. Note that since it isn't supported by the common profile, any intensity > 1.0f is dropped and results in lower lighting. Lights conformance tests: Added export and import of "Attenuation", "Attenuation_Scale", "Falloff", "Falloff_Scale", "Angle" parameters from the 1.3.0 specifications on export of point and spot light types. Note that penumbra and intensity are now dropped and will be added to a new profile shortly. Mantis #68: After discussion with Christian, we are not baking the intensity into color until a new Maya light profile is added with the extra information. (cla...@fe...) Physics: Improved the scripts that add physics extension attributes. In particular, created a script (colladaPhysicsSceneAddAttr) that automatically scans the scene and upgrades all applicable rigid body and shape objects. Regards, Christian |
