Hello everyone! This week's work was centered on improving Maya 7.0 support. Color sets are now used, in Maya 7.0 to import per-vertex colors. Multiple color sets can now be exported also. If you have Maya 6.X files containing vertex colo= rs that are you trying to export into Collada, please first ensure that they are using color sets correctly, otherwise you may loose this information. The Mac XCode project now has a functioning Maya 7.0 target. There's been a few interested bug fixes, also, related to transformations: the <skew> element angle is now in degrees and the order of the rotations is now taken into consideration only once when importing non-ColladaMaya documents. With our work on the Collada exporter for 3dsMax, expect a much improved inter-operability between Maya and Max! Implemented the export: check the number of color sets in the mesh, match the color set names with the names in the plugs to identify the correct base plug for each logical index. Grab the per-vertex colors directly from the plugs and export any animation curves attached. Since the number of color sets is not previous known, I cannot create the sources correctly, so I split my export function into two: one that collects the names and the base plugs, and a second function to collect the color data and animations for one color set. =09SourceForge #1287883: Maya 7.0 Color Sets. The ColladaMaya importer will now try to recognize the axis before applying the rotation on the transformation matrix, so that animations and the rotation order can be evaluated correctly. =09Small Fix: Fixed the skew angles to be in degrees. =09MAC Maya 7.0: Fixed linking target problems for Maya 7.0.
