Hi everyone! As we're getting closer to a refined Collada 1.4 specification, the ColladaMaya translator is getting pretty stable and bugfree! This was due to one of Maya's fun invisible node: geometryMatrix, on the skin cluster that I wasn't setting, so it's now fixed. 09/08/05 =09(gla...@fe...) =09Performance Improvement: Suggested by Kevin Thacker, implemented the buffering of the sampled animations, processing them together doing one MGlobal::viewFrame for each sample time. MGlobal::viewFrame turned out to be very slow, as it includes a full rendering, use MAnimControl::setCurrentTime instead. Fixed some issue with baked transform matrices, where they have to be sampled if any one of the component for the node has to be sampled. 06/08/05 =09(gla...@fe...) =09Performance Improvement: Performance speed-up in array list element allocation. It was wrongly incrementing the element count by one. Performance speed-up in the <polygons> node parsing: traverse through the nodes only once, this spares us a large amount of unnecessary allocations. |
