ColladaCGF 0.3.9 released

ColladaCGF enables exporting 3D models into Crysis, using Crytek's resource compiler, and Blender/Maya's Collada exporters. Import is partly supported as well, via the Python File Format Interface.

This release is again a small bugfix release.

ColladaCGF 0.3.8 released

ColladaCGF enables exporting 3D models into Crysis, using Crytek's resource compiler, and Blender/Maya's Collada exporters. Import is partly supported as well, via the Python File Format Interface.

This release fixes various small bugs. The installer has been improved to work better with 64 bit systems, and has also been updated for Blender 2.49b and Python 2.6. MayaCGF is now bundled separately (see http://www.seithcg.com\).... read more

ColladaCGF 0.3.7 released

ColladaCGF enables exporting 3D models into Crysis, using Crytek's resource compiler, and Blender/Maya's Collada exporters. Import is partly supported as well, via the Python File Format Interface.

We're proud to release a new version of ColladaCGF, which now includes the resource compiler used with the XSI 3.4 exporter, and takes advantage of all the optimizations of the Crysis Wars engine!

Also, the installer has been fixed to allow ColladaCGF to be installed on systems with multiple installations of Maya.... read more

ColladaCGF 0.3.0: first release!

We're proud to present the first release of ColladaCGF, which allows you to export assets to Crysis, using Blender, Maya, or any other 3D package which has a collada exporter.

Currently, ColladaCGF simply combines BlenderCGF and MayaCGF into a single package. The main change compared to the old packages is that the resource compiler no longer needs to be manually installed into your Crysis folder, because it is now bundled with ColladaCGF. Regarding Maya, the 64-bit version of Maya 2008 is supported as well.... read more
