[coLinux-users] Gentoo woes

Hello,
I'm experiencing some serious trouble trying to get the 2005.1 image of
Gentoo to work.  It seems to not have /dev/cobd devices, for whatever
reason, and booting into a static dev isn't helpful because I don't have
any way to add swap.
Also, udev fails unable to create the cobd devices, claiming a lack of
space.  
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
