I will try it out on a dual Xeon XP Pro box with HT (looks like 4 procs) and
let you know how it works.


I have updated the snapshot with one addition:

  * The daemon process is pinned to the first processor until
    we get the SMP stability issue fixed.	 

With this change it runs without any problem on my HT machine (Linux as 
host, though).
