Off the top of my head... - Multimedia Support (For example, streaming .mp3's with xmms) - NX will let you access Windows share points on the local machine you're running NX Client on... whether it be the VM's host or another box on the 'net. VNC has its place but that's two very useful things it can't do. VNC has resumeable sessions, NX does not (yet). Both are very much cross-platform. D.
