Thank you for your feedback.  Perhaps what I meant to ask is, "What
is the logic behind the assignment/naming of the logical disk devices
in Windows 2K/XP?"

As I say, I just don't fully understand.  I've spent a few hours
searching on Google and MSDN trying to find an answer, to no avail :^(
