I've done this many times, and I just tried it now. I get an error 
making the ext3 file system. In fact no tool can access it. Fdisk can't, 
CFDisk can't parted can't. So ya thats my prob. I'm so desperate i 
copied the original debian disk image and copied it. Still no luck that 
way. I've also tried the bochs way and dd'ed way. Nothing. :(
