My system was borking when merging tcp-wrappers (which is not big at all). A couple of questions if I may: Is this your own image or the one from sourceforge? What are your CFLAGS set to in /etc/make.conf? (I have a hunch that the tar seg faults maybe due to me having -pipe in my CFLAGS).
