[coLinux-users] performance

I just wanted to ask about the performance of colinux.  I am running 
win2000 on a 2.6GHz PC.  I set up a linux partition with debian to be 
used with colinux.  I also set the swap to a real swap partition.  When 
I go through to make a project, it is MUCH slower than a 400MHz PC.  I 
can look at my hard drive and see that the harddrive is not being 
touched almost at all during compilation, so this tells me I have enough 
memory.  Is colinux just much slower than a standalone linux PC?
