Hiya! I first had the same problem. The cause is the upgrade from kernel 2.4 = to kernel 2.6 and differences in device handling, that affect Gentoo = linux. Change your colinux config file so that it uses devices '/dev/cobd/0' = and so on; read also other docs. that you can find about upgrading = gentoo from 2.4 to 2.6 kernels. You have up install a new package = instead of modutils for instance, but I can't remember the details. You can either search the coLinux mailinglists, try to find the = upgrade-info in the coLinux wiki, or consult the Gentoo website. regards, --Tim -----Original Message----- From: col...@li... Subject: Re: [coLinux-users] it stops while doing 'rsync perl' Thanks for your advice, but after I installed 20040710 snapshot, it says "fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/cobd0 /dev/cobd0: The superblock could not be read ... blahblah Filesystem could' be fixed :(=20 ......" and cannot boot up. I've checked my config file several times, but cannot find anything wrong. Can I get some more advice? :) Thanks in advance.
