Hi, I have the same problem! Apart from updating to the latest snapshot, = which you could try but be careful, read the mailing list archives, what = you can do is: - open a new terminal window - run 'top' - note the pid of the process taking all CPU - kill that process. The test and emerge should now continue. --Tim -----Original Message----- From: col...@li... [mailto:col...@li...]On Behalf Of Sungjin Han Sent: woensdag 1 september 2004 7:48 To: col...@li... Subject: [coLinux-users] it stops while doing 'rsync perl' Hello. I have problem with updating/installing Perl package (dev-lang/perl). At first, it goes well. But when it comes to test(test what?), it just stops, exactly at the same line each time : = "lib/Benchmark......." and seems to do nothing. (CPU usage is 100% though) So whenever a new Perl package comes up to portage tree, I have to build this one at other server (with 'emerge -B'), move it to my coLinux box, and install it. (driving me mad!!! :'( ...) Can anybody help me? Does anyone have a solution for this problem? --=20 ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US :D ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
