Hi,

I have the same problem! Apart from updating to the latest snapshot, =
which you could try but be careful, read the mailing list archives, what =
you can do is:

- open a new terminal window
- run 'top'
- note the pid of the process taking all CPU
- kill that process.

The test and emerge should now continue.

Hello.

I have problem with updating/installing Perl package (dev-lang/perl).

At first, it goes well.
But when it comes to test(test what?),
it just stops, exactly at the same line each time : =
"lib/Benchmark......."
and seems to do nothing. (CPU usage is 100% though)

So whenever a new Perl package comes up to portage tree,
I have to build this one at other server (with 'emerge -B'),
move it to my coLinux box, and install it. (driving me mad!!! :'( ...)

Can anybody help me? Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
