Currently, only Linux on Windows is supported.
But for example, Linux on BSD or the reverse is easy.

It depends on the definition of "subsystem". ROS team is going to run
coLinux on ROS. But the approach is "coLinux style". You call this as
a subsystem? it depends on you.
