As was already pointed out this is because you must
specify the configuration file when you execute
colinux-daemon.exe. If you want to be able to start
coLinux by double clicking an icon then you could add
the following to a .bat file and then double click the
icon for that file.

REM BEGIN COLINUX.BAT
@echo off
f:
cd "f:\colinux"
colinux-daemon.exe -c default.colinux.xml
REM END COLINUX.BAT
