I've finally been able to get colinux-0.6.1 to boot and use my real ext3 partition as the rootfs :) I've installed vncserver on the partition but am having trouble logging into it because some of the keys don't map correctly. Most of them do but some don't. eg. the number 6 and the enter key don't map correctly. Since the number 6 is part of my password and the fact that I can't press enter in a terminal makes it very hard to login and do things. I've used VNC on a number of systems in the past and never had these problems. Any idea what the problem could be? Is it a colinux issue or just a plain vnc issue? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. BTW: from what I saw, VNC looked fairly slow. Much slower than I expected considering WinXP and colinux are running on the same machine (I'm running XP in bridged mode btw). Thanks, Brendan Simon. |
