This is what I did; Host system is XP Professional with SP 1 and latest
patches installed.

- Create a network bridge between the local network adapter and the
virtual TAP-Win32 adapter. You can do this by selecting both adapters in
the "network connections" window, and choose "create bridge" in the
right click menu.

- Change the network definition in the default.colinux.xml file:
<network index="0" type="bridged" name="Microsoft MAC Bridge Virtual NIC" />
