Sure, I use winpcap bridging on XP SP1 using colinux 0.6.1 and don't have this problem. I can ping the colinux host from the xp host, as well as shh into it. It doesn't show up inder ipconfig since there's no real adapter installed, but it is there and does seem to work exactly the same localy as it does remotely.
