What is the Linux kernel upstream position on any coLinux changes getting
merged, or has there been any discussion about this?

I'm sure some of the #ifndef CONFIG_COOPERATIVE changes might be considered
to spaghettify the code, but have alternative strategies been pondered or
proposed?
