yes, devel branch is what you should use. in your case, it is not frozen (can you ctrl-c to stop the process?). your colinux gui client is not found in your path. after kernel boot, the daemon will shift the display to client. not sure how familiar with windows version of colinux. it is the same design. you just need to start the gui client from another terminal manually.
