COFS doesn't (currently) support special files, including symlinks. >From the cofs.txt file, included in the package: "Creation of special files like symlinks, device nodes, and pipes are not supported." "Future versions of cofs support will introduce the UNIX meta data mode[...] It will allow to have a true UNIX file system." I'm not a developer for the project, so I have no idea when these features will be available, if at all.
