Hello,
I've put together a private patch against 0.6.3-pre13 for 
Squashfs 2.1 and Unionfs 0.12a available at:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/colonist/colinux/patch/linux-private.patch?rev=1.2

Kernel config file (which differs by 2 lines only) is:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/colonist/colinux/conf/linux-config?rev=1.2

Colonist project (http://colonist.sf.net) would benefit
a lot from a statically linked squashfs module. 
Unionfs is bonus. :-)

Rather than as an linux-private-patch, what about doing
these as 'seperate' make targets?  With the cloop module I'm
hoping to add to coLinux, I'm going to do it as an
'seperate' make target, the goal being to keep the coLinux
functionality (since it's still very much changing)
seperated from other things that we add to the kernel for
other reasons.
