Hi, I'm running WINXP, & want to install Ubuntu on my machine - running via windows (at the same time)... >From the screen shots, CoLinux seems to be the tool I need (I've not downloaded it yet...) Basically, the install instructions indicate, I need to use linux to programme certian command lines to install it, & reading on network etc.. & "Slirp" (& other complex commands to enter into the console...) I am *very* new to Linux (IE next to nothing knowledge )..... - But am a fast learner. Q. Is there a tutorial on the MINIMUM process I need to install Co-Linux without the "extras" ? Q. Is "Slirp" an extra ? & looking for "network" ?? Basically, i am just ONE PC running WinXP - No networked systems I'll assume the above are extras & not needed to run ?? (I'll assume i need to install ubuntu first - Then CoLinux Thank you...... -- G Freecycle Auckland :- http://www.freecycle.org/ |
