In normal case it is no problem to run coLinux on Vista 32-bit. A 64bit
CPU I have checked my self some weeks ago:

PS: Dell has a "downgrade" option from Vista to XP. Some are for 10 EUR
 or 0 EUR, depens on the Vista version they ship as default.
