Why don't you use the console-nt ? it is not so bad :=)

An other idea is to use a telnet program (putty for example).
So you have resizing, fonts, copy/paste ....

My advice is to don't use KDE of X ...
If you need a console there are good solution.

The idea under unix is to keep things simple. KDE is not simple, If
you can avoid it ....
