If you can mount (either loopback or directly) you should be able to run an=
y=20
linux bin. hold on the mount point.

As a quick test, you can try to mount your colinux images, chroot inside (a=
s=20
root) and run some applications : ls, man, ...

If you can do that, running vserver shouldn't be very difficult.
