I recently setup my native linux operating system to run under coLinux. It was amazing! Unfortunately, after a couple of hours colinux became so slow that it was unusable. The Xrealvnc executable was using about 75% of the colinux CPU, and the colinux-daemon about 80-90% of the Windows XP CPU. I have no previous experience with the VNC server. My KDE desktop demands a lot of resources to run all the applications. Is this a known issue with VNC? Is Cgywin X more suitable for more instensive use? (I haven't tried it out yet.) Thanks, James |
