I cannot see the problem on my systems.
I have downloaded the latest 0.7.3-20080524 and used it my
colinux-console-nt.exe.
For me it works both if
- daemon launches it
- launching by hand
I have to investigate.

I understand your suggestion .... when it will work, his name will be
colinux-console-sdl ;=)
