Hello, I really don't understand why there would be a problem. Every file in the colinux directory has a permission of -rwx------. - Neil On Thursday 27 October 2005 02:25 am, you wrote: > Did you check the file permissions of configuration file and partition > files? Hello, Neil Hodges wrote: > I really don't understand why there would be a problem. Every file in the > colinux directory has a permission of -rwx------. The permissions under Cygwin are not relevant. Please check, that the file exist on a Windows command prompt. Use a simple dir. dir "c:\Progam Files\coLinux\Gentoo-colinux-stage3-x86-2004.3" Is the space a problem? Move the file to a normal directory, for sample to C:\colinux, and change the entry in XML file. Do all that as Admin, not as user. Don't touch the root fs with other programs. Close all Cygwin shells. Try to run an other smaller root_fs, for sample a debian image. -- Henry Nestler |
