[coLinux-users] Keyboard problem with console

Hi

I've successfully installed a debian-colinux without any problem on a =
windows XP pro SP1.

But I encountered a problem with the french keyboard of my laptop when =
using the colinux console. This old kind of problem who make you crazy =
after a while :o)

Is it possible to use a non-US keyboard with the colinux-console ?

Short answer; Yes. See http://www.colinux.org/wiki/index.php/tomfa 
for configuration details (the dot-inputrc stuff at the bottom). For 
other than bash, you're on your own. If you have an older colinux 
and want or need to upgrade, look at 
http://www.colinux.org/snapshots/ for downloads.

I got it

Here's what I've done to get the right keyboard (this can be found in Debian
documentation
http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/fr/debian-fr-howto/ch2.html#s2.2)

Using the debian image associated with colinux I had to :

First intall the missing packages :
>>apt-get install console-data
>>apt-get install console-tools

then execute :
>>dpkg-reconfigure console-data

and it's working !!!
