it might be worthwhile to consider adding standard meta information to the colinux executables, so that the corresponding processes/services don't appear like "rogue" software, i.e. viewing running processes using sysinternals procmon or the Security Task Manager, coLinux may appear suspicious because it lacks this sort of standard fields. This should be mostly a matter of adding a RES file to the executable image. I am just saying this, because coLinux may appear to be like rootkit software otherwise.
Also, it seems that by default the coLinux service registration does not contain a description that is displayed in the services panel, this would be another candidate for improving.
Version information would generally also be useful, as well as a link to the webpage so that users can more easily find out about a running coLinux service
Version information exists in all EXE files. You can see it with file properties inside Windows Explorer.
What we not have are Digital Signatures and Certificates. That's why it is listed as "unknown" software.
