It would be good if coLinux supported running as
Windows Service.

Currently it can be done with srvany.exe but it lacks
an important feature: safe shutdown.

Ideally the service would run coLinux in response to
"Start" command and send some power-down event (or just
telinit 0) to linux on "Stop" command. This way linux
would get a chance to run shutdown scripts, unmount
filesystems and so on.

There is 'cygrunsrv' package/program in cygwin - you can do
    something like:

    cygrunsrv -I colinux -c /cygdrive/c/colinux -p
    /cygdrive/c/colinux/colinux -a -d

Where /cygdrive/c/colinux is cygwin path to colinux
installation. You can get it using 'cygpath c:\colinux'
(where c:\colinux is win/dos path to colinux).
