I want to switch to the newest kernel (if possible) in order to use FUSE. Will it work to simply:
    - download the kernel sources
    - build the kernel
    - replace the "vmlinux" in my coLinux directory
I don't think this will work myself - doesn't coLinux run a modified kernel? If so, where can I get a patch? Also, is there any way to use FUSE without upgrading the kernel?

    Thanks!

Patch for the kernel can be found in the source package. If you want a walkthrough of my experience in doing this it's at:

I tried that but there are patches only for relatively stale kernels that don't have FUSE support built in.
