I am having the following problem when starting colinux:

    When I start, I get :

    Error opening registry key: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E32

repeated several times, and then the boot hangs at 'enabling TAP'

I am using colinux as part of andLinux on Windows 7.  Please help!

    Thank You.

    Hi Brian,

{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} is the key of TAP-Colinux driver and probably you have previous entries of it in the registry.
    Try to do next steps:
    1. Uninstall andLinux.
    2. Backup your registry.
    3. With any registry tool find all entries of 'coLinux' in key and data fields and remove keys with this fields.
    4. Find and remove all keys with 'tap0801co'.
    5. Install andLinux.

Try to run colinux-daemon as "Administrator".

Please search for "openVPN TAP-Win32 Windows 7" on the Internet. All tips there for the TAP you can also use under coLinux. The internal name for coLinux TAP is "tap0801co", this is the only difference between the openVPN variant (it is "tap0904" for openVPN, I think).
