    Hi all,

currently trying to connect via SSH (Putty) to my coLinux box from my host system. Did an apt-get install ssh (and after a small fight I got it even installed). Now when I try to initiate the connection, I get a connection, the server asks be for a user and password and rejects me. Same combination works from the command line.
Looking at the /var/log/auth.log file I see two entries, one after I gave the account name:
PAM unable to resolve symbol: pam_sm_acct_mgmt
After I provided the password I get:
    Failed password for <Username> from <IP address of host> port 1390 ssh2

Any idea what the problem is?

    Thanks & regards

In case somebody is facing the same problem:

The missing PAM module was the problem, took me some time to find out how to fix it:

      apt-get install libpam-modules
