i am new to linux and am using colinux to get familiar with the operating system. i am running colinux on WindowsXP

    questions:
    1. is it possible to install programs on the colinux? how is this done?
    2. how are the disk drives of WindowsXP accessed inside the colinux application?

    thanks!

      1. Inside coLinux you can install programms in same way of native linux.  This is "apt-get ..." for Debian.  Or download source, and then the linux typicial steps ala "./configure && make && make install".

      2. You can access from coLinux into Windows host via cofs, or with network shares (SMB).

Please read the wiki.colinux.org for details.
