The conet-bridged-net daemon of coLinux binary release 0.5.4 crashed with the exception "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION". After several tests, I found that the exception was caused by the wpcap.dll which version is 220.127.116.11. I replaced wpcap.dll and packet.dll with older version (18.104.22.168), the bridged-net daemon ran up without that exception. My OS is Windows XP HE with Service Pack 1. Does anyone else also encounter this problem?
I have the same problem with the same OS / Service Pack 1
Bridged did'n crash here, but didn't work at all.
I removed colinux (including all drivers but backuped bridged-net exutables), installed development vesion of winpcap and after that re-installed colinux and restored bridged-net executables. Since then bridged-network worked instantly and stable and suffered at least 10 windows reboots and near 50 colinux reboots.
