I had to install the old version of CodeWinPos from July 2007 -- the newer version causes VS2005 to crash every time.

To activate CodeWinPos, I had to log in *as administrator*, go to the Visual Studio Options window and press the 'Enable' button. This didn't work until I logged in as administrator.

btw- I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 and VS2005 SP1 with no other plugins.

  Ok. I added the previous version back on to the All Files section so that it can still be downloaded. The only difference with the new version is VS2008 support. So apparently there is a problem with it working on VS2005 or XP I'm not sure. So you're not losing anything by using the previous version.
