Many time patches come from various source (email for example)

This is a quick patch to run patches through fiterdiff such that
the rest of the CS patch parsing engine can handle the patch.

I like the idea, but this is hard to execute since we need to also support win32. A lot of sites would then need to install filterdiff, or at least make it an option.

Ideally, I'd like to make Codestriker's parser handle these "email diffs" - can you provide some examples? Thanks.

I understand installing filterdiff may be bit of a pain.

An all perl solutions might be nice.
maybe we should look at packages like Text-Diff-Parser
I have not looked to see how well it will parse up a patch that has extra cruft in it.

If you want to test this simply email a patch to yourself save the email and then
try importing that email message into CS.

You might ask why not save the patch and then import that.
Since CS will save the whole file as the topic text any useful info that
might be in the email is then archived as part of the CS topic.

Its also easier for us lazy people :-)
