Hi Steven, Glad to hear you now have it working, but its not nice to hear that somehow the open3() call under mod_perl is broken on Linux, with Perl 5.8. Some other interesting experiments to try that I'd be interested in knowing the results of: * Re-enable mod_perl again, but make sure you don't enable taint mode (ie comment out the line "PerlTaintCheck On" in your apache.conf file if it was there). * Likewise, can you easily update your mod_perl to a more recent version? I suspect the problem may lie here. It would be interesting to know if it has been fixed. It goes to show - when all else fails, you can rely on plain-old CGI. :) Cheers, David On Friday 14 January 2005 04:29, sku...@si... wrote: > Janson and David, > > We changed our "codestriker.conf" file as follows and the Parallel and Line > links now work: > > Alias /codestriker/ /var/www/codestriker/codestriker-1.8.5/cgi-bin/ > Alias /codestrikerhtml/ /var/www/codestriker/codestriker-1.8.5/html/ > > <Directory "/var/www/codestriker/codestriker-1.8.5/cgi-bin/"> > # SetHandler perl-script > # PerlHandler ModPerl::Registry > Options +ExecCGI > AddHandler cgi-script .pl > </Directory> > > <Directory "/var/www/codestriker/codestriker-1.8.5/html/"> > AllowOverride None > Allow from all > </Directory> > > Thanks, > > Steven Kuhlmann > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jason Remillard <jre...@ya...> > Sent: Wed Jan 12 21:16:34 CST 2005 > To: Steven Kuhlmann <sku...@si...> > CC: David Sitsky <si...@us...> > Subject: problems with codestriker > > > Hi, > > I saw the mail you sent to David, about su to www-data working ok.
