No doubt about it - we should definately use the --username and --password 
flags.  We do a very similar thing with CVS.  We can make this a part of 
the repository specification, in the same way we do with CVS pserver.  
This shouldn't be too hard, and we should be able to make it optional, to 
supporting existing configs.

I'll make sure we add --non-interactive to all our commands.
