David/Rick, Not sure if I'm seeing the related error (couldn't see your error message) but when I try to post a comment using IE I get a javascript error as well. If I have the "Disable script debugging" unchecked in your IE settings I get the following error. A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line: 393 Error: 'null' is null or not an object If that option is checked, CodeStriker simply sits there with the comment window with "Receiving Response" I have no problems with this in Firefox. Ideas? Thanks, Cody -- CODY STARR Director, Product Development | Presagis USA cod...@pr... Do you get the same issue if you use firefox? The STICKY flag comes from one of those overlib*.js files in the html directory. I take it they are all properly accessible from the web-server? Are you using apache or IIS? I wonder if the web-server log files might tell us something more. Certainly nobody else has reported an issue like this. I wonder if one of those files is missing? Yep - I can see this too now. Something recent must have changed which broke IE. I'll have to check this out later on. I can see what is happening. For some reason under IE, it is not sending the cookie with the posted comment (which is done via AJAX), where as it is under firefox. The cookie contains the authenticated token. As a result, its redirecting the AJAX request to the login page... which is why everything is getting stuck under IE. You have to love how different browsers do things differently.. Cheers, David On Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 4:47 PM, David Sitsky <dav...@gm...> wrote: > Yep - I can see this too now. I haven't had much luck fixing this one... for now if you disable logins (comment out $admin_users in codestriker.conf) then IE users will be fine. Its a weird issue - there are MS bugs out there, but none of the workarounds have fixed the issue for me. I managed to finally get to the bottom of this. It was a bizarre cookie issue when authentication was enabled, and how IE blocked access to the cookie where-as Firefox didn't. Please try using the attached codestriker.js in your html directory and let me know if it works for you now.. it fixed it for me.
