I'm afraid that the move to the "forge" software here on SourceForge broke a lot of external links into the repo in a way I couldn't fix. So I've had to move the repo over to GoogleCode which does meet my needs and, as a bonus, seems much faster.
So, please change any links to the old repo you may be using to use the new repo. My bolg post at http://delphidabbler.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/codesnip-project-hosting-changes-now.html has all the details.... read more
Now that the CodeSnip project has been migrated to Allura the URLs required to checkout source code from the Subversion repository have changed.

Adjust as required for other branches.
CodeSnip v4.0.2 is a maintenance release. It fixes several keyboard handling glitches to make the program easier to use for those who prefer the keyboard to the mouse.
See https://sourceforge.net/projects/codesnip/files/Release-4.0.2/
Should have mentioned a while ago, but I've released a portable version of CodeSnip - https://sourceforge.net/projects/codesnip/files/Release-4.0.1-portable-beta.1/
This beta is based on v4.0.1 of CodeSnip.
It can be run from a writeable removable storage device such as a USB stick. It makes no changes to the the host computer's files and stores all its data on the removable device in subdirectories of the install directory.... read more
CodeSnip 4.0.1 has just been released.
This is a recommended update for CodeSnip 4.0.0 users. It fixes some display bugs and has some other minor changes under the hood and in the help file.
Please update ASAP.
This is a bug fix release for CodeSnip v3.
Users of CodeSnip 4 do not need this version.
CodeSnip 3 users are recommended to update to v4.0.1, but if you want to stay with v3 this is a recommended update.
After nearly two years in development, CodeSnip v4 has been released.
New features include the ability to browse multiple snippets in different tabs, new "class" and "unit" snippet types, ability to duplicate snippets to ease the creation of similar code, customisable views, more descriptive display names for snippets, rich text in snippet descriptions, and many more. See http://delphidabbler.com/software/codesnip/log?v=4 for full details.... read more
No sooner had I released CodeSnip 4 release candidate 2 to correct a nasty bug relating to snippet display names than I read a comment in the blog about another new, and even worse, bug. Details at http://delphidabbler.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/aaargh-another-bad-codesnip-bug-now.html
This one affects clean installs of CodeSnip, i.e. installs where there was no previous version of the program installed. The bug got introduced in beta 2 and was in RC 1 and RC 2.... read more
Wouldn't you know it.
Just when I thought all the bug bugs had been squashed by the betas I nasty bug has been found in CodeSnip v4 Release Candidate 1. It also affects Beta 1 and Beta 2.
The bug crashes the UI if more than one snippet has the same display name. That's bad enough but duplicating a snippet that has a different display name to its unique name automatically creates two snippets with the same display name, and BOOM.... read more
CodeSnip 4 is nearly ready!!
A release candidate has just been release - see https://sourceforge.net/projects/codesnip/files/Release-4.0.0-rc.1/
The most significant changes since beta 2 and that the Welcome page has been completely redesigned and support for the Delphi XE3 compiler has been added.
If there are no major problems in this release I hope that the final v4.0 release will be available by early October.... read more
A fortnight after the first beta comes the second one.
Lots of bugs from beta 1 have been squashed. In addition the GUI has been smoothed out a little - more work to do here.
I think this beta is quite stable and worth investigating - and any data you save WILL be readable by the v4.0 release, because the file formats have been frozen now.

A maintenance fix for CodeSnip v3.10.x has been released that fixes a couple of bugs in the UI.
Taken with v3.10.4 released a few days ago several UI glitches have been addressed and it's probably time to update if you are running anything earlier than v3.10.4.
See the changes at http://delphidabbler.com/software/codesnip/log?v=3
At long last a beta of CodeSnip 4 has been released with lots of new features not available in v3.x versions or in the recent v4 previews.
I'm using this now for maintaining the online DelphiDabbler Code Snippets database. For full details of changes see the change log at http://delphidabbler.com/software/codesnip/log?v=4
