Hallo TUM-Cobricks-Entwickler, Es gibt seit eben neue Default-Datenbanken fuer Cobricks-Testumgebungen auf der sunschlichter0 (anstelle der bisherigen MySQL-Datenbank auf der sun18 und der XML-Datenbank auf derselben Maschine). Hallo Cobricks-Developers at TUM, If you are using the default cobricks databases at sunschlichter18, this might be interesting for you: We just have shut down the Xindice1.0 server at sunschlichter18:4080 and have replaced it with a Xindice1.1 server. If you just update your installation from the CVS and add the xindice.home variable in the build.properties (with the value "/usr/proj/java/xindice1.1") everything should work again as it did before (or even better ...). Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. Hallo, ich habe eben eine neue Version der Beschreibung der=20 Entwicklungsumgebung hochgeladen (Repository oder PDF Version in der=20 File Release Area). Bei der Ueberarbeitung haben wir insbesondere=20 versucht, klarer zu machen, was getan werden muss, um eine voll=20 funktionsf=E4hige Instanz zu installieren. Ausserdem haben wir die Coding= =20 Conventions klarer aufgelistet. Feedback und Verbesserungsvorschlaege zum Dokument bitte direkt an=20 Karheinz Toni (toni<at>in.tum.de). Michael Koch |

Hallo, Die in den ersten Quelldateien von Cobricks genutzte Art und Weise, (JavaDoc-)Kommentare zur ganzen Klasse zu schreiben, wird so leider nicht von JavaDoc unterstuetzt. Der beschreibende Text zur Klasse und dei author, version Tags muessen direkt vor der Klassendefinition (Zeile mit class oder interface) stehen. Ausserdem sollte der Verweise auf die Lizenz von der Beschreibung getrennt sein. Ich habe das ganze jetzt mal fuer die Packages org.cobricks.core und org.cobricks.portal umgestellt. Bitte in Ihren eigenen Packages sukzessive nachziehen. Ich habe das JavaDoc auch mal wieder neu erzeugt und nach http://www11.in.tum.de/proj/cobricks/dist/docs/api/ kopiert. Gruss, Michael Koch |

Hallo, wie besprochen ist das Cobricks CVS Repository im Stand von 11.2.2004 12:00 vom Rechner sunschlichter18.informatik.tu-muenchen.de auf cvs.sf.net umgezogen. Das Modul im SourceForge-CVS-Repository heisst "cobricks2" unter der Wurzel "/cvsroot/cobricks". Gleichzeitig habe ich auch alle Klassen vom Package de.cobricks in das Package org.cobricks verschoben und die Konfigurationsdateien entsprechend angepasst. Gruss, Michael Koch |
