I am backupping a network folder containing 60 GB of data and the file compresses to 35 GB. I am using backup type incremental and compression method Zip compression / no split.
The archive created is find for a while.
It is scheduled to run daily. after 2 or 3 days the archive becomes corrupted and I can't retrieve files from it. I use WinRAR 3.80.
Is it just happening to me? I did not find people with the same problem in the forums. I installed Cobian Backup 9.5.1.212 on a Windows 2000 server PC.
Here is the log:
5/25/2009 6:30:06 PM Creating or updating the archive "E:\mirror\network\bilbo\data.zip"
5/26/2009 5:47:36 AM The archive "E:\mirror\network\bilbo\data.zip" has been created/updated. 622 file(s) have been compressed
5/26/2009 5:47:37 AM **** Backup for "Bilbo" ended. 622 file(s) were backed up. (Elapsed time: 11 hour(s), 17 minute(s), 30 second(s)) ****
P.S. I have also 2 other backups scheduled which works perfectly and never gives me a corrupt zip file. They are set with the same options.
