Current Work

The project is still in alpha status. What I am trying to do however, is to bootstrap Screen Designer 2 (SD002) from the first one (SD001). SD001 is unforgiving and has some bugs, but if you're careful, it is useable.

SD002 will have a cleaner screen design and because it is partially generated, is more reliable and forgiving. I have also improved the screen code based upon experience gained from SD001.

SD002 can now create/update/find/delete screen records, and create/update/find/delete field records. The screen painter and field state screen s remain outstanding.

Warning: SD001 has a bad habit of not warning about changes made in the Screen Painter. If you are using this, be sure to always SAVE before you exit or abandon the current screen record.
