I just checked in a patch that fixed reading the feature (.mfc) files generated by raw2cep. I also fixed a number of things in the time_align code the other day to complain more loudly about errors in the input (such as WORD(2) with no WORD, and when it finds two copies of WORD).
This should make some of the "doesn't work" issues go away that were related to alignment and reading feature files.
