In Swedish, there is a Sj-sound that, according to Wikipedia, is not present in any other language. Now, if I have a word like "sjukhus", how do I write it in arpabet characters? I cannot find a suitable arpabet...
The sound is something like the hissing sound of a cat, or a variant of the German sound found in e.g. "sich" (Z IH ??)
sjösjuk ?? ER ?? UW K
sjal ?? AA L
Ideas? What's the best arpabet characters to use for the Sj-sound?

Write as SJ, there is no such thing as arpabet for Swedish, so you can choose whatever you like.
