Hi snafu,
You used the editor for adding links and images?
On my local installation it works by using the deveopment version. If you are still interested I can upload the development version as a beta? But the documentation has not been updated thoroughly yet.

Hi again,
I uploaded a new verison of the plugin with slightly updated documentation, like suggested in the forums by Christoph (http://www.cmsimpleforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4316&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=10) it was some issue with magic_quotes_gpc=On. I fiexed that issue using stsl() provided by the core. I tested it with magic_quotes_gpc=On, and now its working on my local installation.
